In all of my 26 years of creating stained glass windows; I have never been allowed the freedom to create a true work of art via commission. I was recently given this gift. I just completed the most amazing piece I have ever been involved in. The project is a 14' x 4' domed skylight. Most would say "so what", but the element that makes this so unique is that it is not a segmented radius. It is a contiguous radius, meaning that all of the pieces (over 900 of them) are slumped to the proper radius! The design is patterned off of what appears to be a Tiffany wallpaper. It is was completed and installed on June 6th, 2008. I will be posting images of the work soon, so check back often! I always take great pride in my work and this tops the cake!
